All about Sinhala alphabet letters / Hodiya / explained in Tamil / Part 01

Here I am introducing you the letters of the #Sinhala alphabet (Sinhala Hodiya/සිංහල හෝඩිය) by comparing it with the #Tamil #alphabet letters, through Tamil Language. This video will be a good source for those who wish to speak, learn Sinhala from the begining. And also this video will clear out many pronunciation issues.

Note that for some Letters, there are more than one suitable Sinhala letters. But their
pronunciations are different. Listen carefully and try to read them along with me.
There are some letters in Sinhala Language, where no Tamil letters can be mapped. Those are listed separately and pronounced for you with suitable examples.

මහප්‍රාණ අක්ෂර: ඵ, භ, ධ, ථ, ඨ, ඡ, ඪ,ඝ, ඛ, ඣ
සඤ්ඤක අක්ෂර : ඟ, ඦ, ඬ, ඳ, ඹ
මූර්ධජ අක්ෂර: ණ, ළ, ෂ
