They are too selective with whom they share their innermost thoughts or even just plainly their opinion about something trivial, and overthinking is their superpower that it heightens their anxiety on everything involving self-expression.

If you are dealing with an INFJ, and you are about to give up with their communication style, please think twice and may this rundown of our reasons why they need to feel heard, open your minds about them.

INFJ Types give so much of themselves to help and fix others but get hurt too often and easily. They had their experiences of having their needs ignored and their opinions invalidated, but nothing could ever hurt them more than being misunderstood for the way they express themselves. And when they feel that they are constantly misunderstood, they would be really closed off and disappointed with the world, this might be often the case with the turbulent INFJ Types who could be truly sarcastic and intently passive-aggressive. Listen to them like how patiently they listen to you, they have been long wanting to say what they want to say and they have it practiced in their heads multiple times before telling you about it, all positioned in a way that could never hurt or offend anyone, so be gentle with your judgments.

The INFJ chooses not to deal with their emotions because they think that it is simpler that way. They like to believe that when they repress emotions, it will stay like that but, unexpressed feelings grow and repressed emotions become a mental problem.
