A Warm Welcome on the Katy Trail: Incredible Riding Across Missouri - TransAm Adventure Ep. 10

In this episode, I set off from Gallatin, Missouri, and spend most of my time riding along the beautiful Katy Trail—a section of trail that quickly became one of my favourites of the entire trip. The Katy Trail is a scenic bike trail that stretches across Missouri, and I loved every minute of it. After many miles of solo riding across Wyoming and Nebraska, this part of the journey was a welcome change, not just for the amazing trail but also for the people I met along the way.

Throughout this leg of the trip, I had the pleasure of meeting several subscribers who either reached out beforehand or found me using my tracker. Some rode with me for a while, others offered places to stay, and each encounter brought a much-appreciated social aspect to the ride that I had been missing. After hundreds of miles riding solo, it was refreshing to connect with fellow cyclists and supporters of the channel.

This video covers five days of riding, taking me through towns like Breckenridge, Brunswick, Glasgow, Jefferson City, and McKittrick, before ending in St. Charles, just outside St. Louis. In St. Charles, I had the chance to stay with a subscriber who generously offered me a place to rest. I finished this stretch of the ride in great spirits, grateful for the trail, the company, and the kindness of the people I’ve met.
