Dieter knows best....oh yeah, it's got a rosewood fingerboard eh! This is a very well made sweet guitar. The reason for the headstock shape is that the strings go over the nut with no sideways bend or angle which apparently helps the intonation and keeps it in better tune. Like I say I picked it out personally for a friend as a gift but his hands are screwed up so he gave it back it's a great sounding guitar and a steal at the price.
