The book of Acts depicts how the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles, triggering numerous miracles through them. Having walked with Jesus for three years and witnessing His miracles first-hand, they were commanded not to leave Jerusalem until they received the Holy Spirit. Upon receiving the Spirit, they set out to perform miracles for God's glory. They had simple instructions: imitate Christ.
