The Mustang GTD delivers a US-certified 815 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 5.2-liter V8, making it the most powerful production Mustang in history. It also boasts more horsepower per liter than the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

With a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h)—the highest of any production Mustang and second only to the Ford GT—the GTD benefits from a Drag Reduction System for improved high-speed performance.

This Mustang combines blistering speed with advanced aerodynamics and race-derived suspension, engineered to achieve a sub-seven-minute lap time at the Nürburgring.

The 5.2-liter V8 features improvements over previous Mustang engines, including Mustang’s first-ever dry-sump oil system, which ensures optimal lubrication during intense cornering.

The dry-sump system also raises the maximum engine speed to 7,650 rpm, an increase of 100 rpm over the previous 5.2-liter V8. Revised intake and exhaust systems, along with a standard titanium exhaust and a smaller supercharger pulley, help to achieve these impressive performance figures.
