Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in India on December 4 for a two-day state visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this visit, he will participate in the 23rd India–Russia Annual Summit, where both leaders will review the progress of the long-standing Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership. President Droupadi Murmu will formally receive President Putin and host a banquet in his honor. PM Modi and President Putin are expected to hold wide-ranging discussions on bilateral cooperation, defence ties, energy, trade, technology, and global issues of mutual interest. The visit aims to reinforce the strong diplomatic relationship between New Delhi and Moscow.
