Diablo - Rogue - Part 2: The Fountain & The Butcher

Part 2: The Fountain & The Butcher in my Diablo - Rogue walkthrough.

I head back to the second floor and explore it. Don't open the door with the corpses on spears, as the Butcher is waiting, and I recommend you get certain equipment and at least level 5 before attempting.
Before entering the Dark Passage I upgrade my Bow to a Hunter's Bow (or if not I do it before the Butcher). Clear everything in there to turn the water blue and head back to Pepin for a nice ring.

Clear the floor out now and head back to the room I mentioned with the corpses, of course providing these are your two quests... Before you open the door, have plenty of potions, and a Flame Wall Scroll. Open the door, use the scroll and close the door. This should heavily weaken, if not kill the Butcher. If you're a melee guy, finish him off on the spot, if you're a sorceror your magic will probably do the job. But... I'm a Rogue, so don't excel at either. I lure him to the entrance to the third floor, trap him and fire freely a him.

I sell the Cleaver (which would be good for a melee character) as well as some other loot, and head back and end at the third floor.

The other quests in this early segment, appear in the next few floors so I'll explain them as I come to the appropriate floor.
