Prayer of Confession
We come to you, O God, in the midst of our distress. Though
we know you are a merciful God, we are ashamed of our sinfulness,
ashamed of all the sins we commit against you. Have mercy, O God.
Have mercy on us and forgive our sins. Take away our guilt. Restore
us to your favor. We pray through Jesus, Savior of Sinners. Amen.
