I have always been fascinated by the fantasy series of the world George R.R. Martin has built, from the books (A Song of Ice and Fire / Fire & Blood) to the show (Game of Thrones / House of the Dragon).

This is my first video made to cover the history of the world of Ice and Fire through the rise and fall of Targaryen Dynasty with the help from my friends. It introduced the rise of Valyria, the ancient homeland of House Targaryen. In upcoming videos, we will see how the great Freehold conquered, rose and fell, and how that enabled the War of Conquest, launched by Aegon and his sisters a hundred years later.
