DIPG Funding Need

In this video, Dr. Mark Souweidane talks about a rare brain cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) and why research funding is so very important. Thanks to organizations like the Cristian Rivera Funding, Dr. Souweidane has been able to explore ideas in the lab, and bring some of his breakthrough findings to trial.

This video is produced in memory of Cristian Rivera, whose father, John, is the founder of the Cristian Rivera Foundation.

This video is also in memory of Brooke Blake, who appears in this video with her mom, Maddie. Brooke was a beloved patient of Dr. Souweidane. She passed away from DIPG in 2020 and she is so greatly missed.
