Dread Delusion and the burden of comparison

Dread Delusion is a first person adventure rpg developed by Lovely Hellplace and released in 2024. In this video, I'd like to talk about it, and also how our tendency to compare new experiences is affected by our previous experiences.

I thought the game was awesome, I highly recommend it if you grew up on older adventure titles and want a little hit of that nostalgia, or if you just want do some casual exploration and monster slaying.

Speaking of comparison, YouTube has a "thumbnail test" feature that let's you upload multiple to see which one people will actually click on. I personally hate clickbait, but people do say it works, and right now only like 3 in 100 people even give the videos a chance, so let's pretend I'm doing it out of curiosity. I really do hope that the normal picture gets the most clicks, I try to appeal to an older audience anyway... I'm not sure why I'm telling you all this.
