I researched ultralight tents SO MUCH and spent days reading and watching reviews before settling on the Alpkit Jaran 2. Even then, you never really know until you try, so after competing the Tour du Mont Blanc and a bunch of other hikes with this tent, I thought I would share my own review video and recommendations. I've used this tent solo in the Lake District, with a friend for the TMB (12 nights) and with my wife in the Wye Valley, Dartmoor, Eryri and the French Alps.
