Police say they have made 19 arrests so far in connection with firework offences following Bonfire Night chaos across Scotland.

Violence errupted at significant levels in the Niddrie, Calder Road, Gracemount and Moredun areas of Edinburgh on November 5. While the Pollokshields area of Glasgow also experienced high levels of disorder.

Police have released footage of large groups of of youths launching fireworks and other projectiles at officers, vehicles and public property. Fires were also set in some of these areas, causing fear and alarm to the local communities.
