It's super easy to mix a 1% dye stock solution.

What does 1% mean? Can I mix 2% or how about.5%? The higher the number, the darker or more saturated the colors. The lower the number, the lighter the color.

Can I store dye and use it again? Is there a difference between leveling acid dyes and pre-metallized dyes. The answer is yes and one of them is not very good for animal fiber and I tell you why.

What kind of water should I use for the best results? How much dye liquid should I use when I'm dyeing? Do I need acid? What about the temperature? What are the steps? How do I avoid bleeding or felting.
