V-Ray | How to RENDER FASTER using simple tricks

Описание к видео V-Ray | How to RENDER FASTER using simple tricks

In this video you will learn how to speed up rendering using V-Ray and 3ds Max. For this we will explore several methods.

In my personal opinion default rendersettings in V-Ray are often way too high resulting in very long rendering times without much quality difference. In this video we will optimize those rendersettings to produce faster renderings. Additionally with the help of AI Denoising Techniques we will remove remaining noise to generate a high quality result using much shorter rendering times.

Apart from final rendering you will spend a lot of time in IPR mode while setting up your scene, lighting and shaders. We will explore important techniques which will help you speed up rendering in IPR mode. We will also explore techniques to speed up IPR rendering using V-Ray GPU, where it is important to use the correct settings for you specific rendering hardware.

Lastly using V-Rays powerful Virtual Framebuffer (VFB) we will explore methods which don't require any re-rendering at all and enable us to apply revisions in realtime using Cryptomattes for local adjustments or Light Mix.

I am using 3ds Max and V-Ray 6 in this demo but you can also use identical techniques for older versions such as V-Ray 5, V-Ray NEXT and V-Ray 3.
A similar workflow can also be used in other software such as Cinema4d, Maya, Blender and different kind of render engine such as Corona, Octane, Redshift, Arnold, Cycles, CyclesX, Eevee and countless others.
