Fantasmic returned to Disneyland in 2024 after a disastrous fire that consumed the Maleficent Dragon in 2023. The dragon does not return in the new show, although there is a rumor that it is in the process of being rebuilt. The show does mark the return of the Peter Pan sequence, which was replaced by a Pirates of the Caribbean sequence in 2017. Overall, a fantastic production, but hoping that the dragon will eventually return. This video was taken from a front spot at the Rivers of America, just to the right of the reserved dining packages area. This spot enabled close up shots with my iPhone 14.
