I like to dedicate this video to one of my best friends: Peter. It’s my way of giving him strength in a very difficult period in his life. Remember you’ve always got friends to help you; who think of you and wish you the best to get through this episode in your life.

Everybody knows this song, but does everybody knows what an amazing bassline Leland Sklar plays here? He’s a phenomenon and plays and has played with so many many bands and artists. I think I was ‘captured’ by the beautiful voice of James Taylor and therefore did not listen carefully at the bassline. But it’s amazing. Leland plays wonderful melodic riffs. For instance he uses just a full A Major scale but put’s in a rhythmic variation that makes its instantly wonderful. But he plays also other beautiful licks in this song; melodic strong and with slides; pull off and hammer on.
