Tips:

Get Nepal's sim card once you arrive to Nepal, it's about $10 for 1 gig data everyday for 30 days.

You have to pay for Wifi and to charge your phone at every lodge you stay. It gets more and more expensive the higher you go up. (Make sure to bring a power bank with you)

Don't panic if you forget any gear, you can buy everything in Kathmandu (Thamal area), Lukla or Namche Bazar. You can probably buy everything for a lot cheaper in Nepal.

Get your 2 Trekking permits in Lukla and not in Kathmandu or online. Make
sure you have some cash on you to buy it (around $50).

Last place to get cash from ATM on the trek is in Namche Bazar.

Book your Kathmandu to Lukla flight a day or 2 days before you start your trek, your hotel can help you with that, or get it from any trekking agency in Thamel (area in Kathmandu). It's around $180 each way.

Make sure your Kathmandu to Lukla flight is early in the morning, usually weather gets bad during the day and a lot of flights gets cancelled.

Make sure to seat on the plane’s left side from Kathmandu to Lukla for the best views of the Himalayas!

Try not to eat meat during the trek, specially on the way going up, you might get sick...

Start your trek early in the morning!

Have toilet paper in your backpack.

Get yourself some good trekking poles. You can buy it in Kathmandu. Your knees will love you!!

No need to carry food with you. You can buy food at every lodge you stay. Food in Nepal is good!!

Bring a warm sleeping bag with you. You can put that on the bed and sleep in it at night, it'll keep you warm!

Try not to shower after Namche, there is not many places with hot water and you might get cold.

Take dry shampoo with you and wet wipes to clean yourself.

Make sure to wear hat and sunscreen lotion during the trek!

Drink lotsssss of water, 3 to 4 Litters everyday.

Ask your doctor if it's ok for you to take Diamox, it helps with Altitude sickness.

Make sure you do ACCLIMATIZATION days, do it at Namche and Dingbouche. The more you do, the more your body will get used to the oxygen level and altitude. Less risk for you to get altitude sickness.

Bring a variety of layers for your cloths, weather in the mountain can change all the time. You can always ask the place you stay to do laundry for you, so try not to bring a lot of stuff. You don't want to carry a heavy backpack for 14 days 6 to 8 hours everyday...

Don't hire your Guide or Porter in Kathmandu, you can get it as soon as you arrive to Lukla. Guide cost around $25 per day, Porter $20 (It's a person to help you carry your backpack up to 20kg and can show you the way up).
MAKE SURE YOU TIP THEM AT THE END!!

If you're going to Everest Base Camp definitely do the Kala Patthar trek the next day, that was the highlight of our trip, and make sure you do it early in the day so you can see the sunrise on Mount Everest, it was magical!!!

Make sure you check out Gokyo Lake if you have time, it's definitely worth it!!
