Orlando holiday drone show goes wrong, nearly killing 7-year-old boy

A holiday drone show in Orlando turned disastrous when several drones crashed into the crowd, nearly killing a 7-year-old boy.

The FAA confirmed that multiple drones collided mid-air, causing one to strike Alexander Edgerton, who required emergency heart surgery. His mother, Adriana Edgerton, described finding him unconscious with severe injuries.

The drone show vendor, Sky Elements, is cooperating with the FAA and expressed regret over the incident. The City of Orlando canceled a second scheduled show. Alexander remains in the ICU as his family seeks answers.
