Travel vlog | NYC to San Diego ✈️ | first flight with an 8 month old

We took our 8 month old on her first ever flight to visit family in the San Diego area. I had to pump twice on the 6-hour cross-country flight, which was by far the worst part. The baby, on the other hand, handled everything like a seasoned traveler. We had purchased a seat for her and brought her car seat so she could use it if she wanted to, but she ended up not using it. The only time she really likes using her carseat is when we are in the car, but the plane was too smooth with no turbulence, so she didn't like being restrained in the carseat. Next time we fly to Hong Kong, we might just gate-check the carseat so hopefully it won't be damaged but we will have extra space if she really won't use it at all. In San Diego, we visited South Coast Vineyard, Del Mar beach, and Oceanside beach. We rented a really cute Airbnb and baby got to meet her extended family for the very first time.
