Want to own as many of the 1000 Looney Tunes Shorts as possible without breaking the bank? This is the 2023 guide on how to do so. Read the description for further details not shared in the video

For example GC has over 100 shorts that will be in further DVD's. But they won't be mentioned as dupes on the GC lists since all the shorts are new to you if you buy them in this order. Plus that would be too complicated to keep track of

So no movies, no spinoffs, no 90s shorts. Just the classics

5) Bugs 80th Anniversary (About 30 new to Disc, 60 new to Bluray for you..unless you got the Platinum BLU-RAY's then it will be 46 new to Blu-Ray)

6) Looney Tunes Collector's Choice (20 new shorts)
V1 - 20 New Shorts to Disc
V2 - Not Announced but expected for 2024

So Assuming you buy every single DVD/Blu Ray listed and not anything else
You will have about 608 of the 1000 Looney Tunes Shorts

7) Mouse Chronicles (14 new shorts)

This brings your collection to about 622 Shorts

The following are stuff that you don't need
1) Spotlight Collection V1-2, 4-8
- V3 is worth it for the movies but it doesn't have any new shorts
- Other Volumes are just stuff in the Golden Collection

2) Essential Bugs Bunny

3) Essential Daffy Duck
- Only exclusive short was later released on the Platinum Collection

4) Space Jam DVD collections
- These might have a few yet to be released shorts on stuff I've mentioned. But these are VHS quality ports of late 90s VHS releases. They're releasing them remastered on the Collector's Choice sets as we speak

5) Any cheap "& Friends" Releases
- These are simply cheap cash grabs featuring a disc from the Golden Collection minus the special features

6) Bugs Bunny 74 Carrot Gold Set
- The First Disc of the first 5 Golden Collection Discs
- Few Shorts don't even include Bugs
- Features half of documentaries but not the other half
- Only worth it if you want to just buy this and no other DVD (it is cheap, $15 for 74 shorts)

7) Anything else not mentioned in this video or description
- There are so many cash grabs for Looney Tunes. WB releases stuff to trick average customers all the time
- Anything $5 or less is an instant ripoff as well. Talking those 2 dvd's with only 3 shorts on each


Dupes are inevitable. But I think this guide is the most helpful I can give in under 5000 characters
