Here is a visual explanation and game-play of a 1951 Bally Coney Island Bingo machine.

Coney Island was Bally's second bingo title release and the first with the extra ball feature. Coney Island is a basic three card game.

During a basic game first credit starts a new game and activates first card. Before shooting the first ball into play, a second and third credit can be played to activate second and third card.

Five balls are played to make a 3, 4 or 5 consecutive sequence of lit numbers on one of the predetermined lines on one of the activated cards.

After the 5 balls are played. Player may wager more credits to be awarded up to 3 extra balls.

4 credits are awarded for a 3 in line, 20 for a 4 in line and 100 for a 5 in line.

My example of the game has a vintage door bell push button as a credit button added for home use.
