JOOPSA, in partnership with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), held a two-day training on Quality Control and Management for technical officers across Edo State MDAs.

The DG of JOOPSA, Dr. Gina Otamere, emphasized the State’s commitment to building a technically competent workforce and improving quality assurance in public projects.
Facilitators explained the difference between Quality Control and Quality Assurance, highlighted common gaps in procedures and systems, and guided participants through practical group exercises.
NSE representatives stressed that quality control is essential for public safety, trust and the overall development of the State.

Participants described the training as insightful, relevant and impactful.
The programme aligns with Edo State’s drive toward a professional, efficient and quality-driven Public Service.
