Qiantu Motor and Creative Mobile teamed up for this year's LA AutoMobility Designer Challenge to imagine what an experience will be like inside a fully autonomous vehicle in the year 2050. Unveiled before a panel of judges and industry pros during the LA Auto Show, five visionary concepts offered a thrilling glimpse into the future of transportation.

Our contest entry embodies a bold vision for a seamless experience, where AI takes care of personalized point-to-point transportation, while a modular vehicle easily adopts the most suitable form for short- or long-range travel inside a vast network of tightly integrated mega-cities. Inside the vehicle, VR takes over, providing a perfect environment for relaxation, learning or play, as illustrated by our take on a 2050 version of Nitro Nation – a leading racing game developed by Creative Mobile.

As a digital game developer, CM are working in the domains of artificial intelligence (AI), networking, as well as virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR). We believe that these concepts will be instrumental in the evolution of personal mobility, as it becomes more intelligent, integrated and user-centric, and many of the challenges faced by the designers of vehicles of the future have a lot in common with the problems we are solving today as we build and operate leading video games.

Moreover, we don't think that the vehicles of the future necessarily need to be soulless bland pods, or that racing and motorsports will cease to exist in the new world. Instead, advances in technology open up new opportunities to put the thrill of the race within anyone's reach, and we are committed to shaping a future where this is possible.
