A former Gloriavale member claims residents are “brainwashed” from a young age, with women expected to endure long hours of cooking, cleaning, and sewing without taking breaks. The allegations were made at an Employment Court hearing, where it’s being argued women of Gloriavale are employees - not volunteers.
