Ford 4 0L OHC Timing Set Overview

A quick overview of the timing setup that Ford used on their 4.0L Overhead Cam engines. I have included the torque specs in the video as I had difficulty finding them on Alldata.
63 lb/ft Cam shaft sprocket bolts
15 lb/ft + 90* Rear Jackshaft sprocket bolt
38 lb/ft +90* Front Jackshaft sprocket bolt

As always double check those numbers if possible, but that is what I had found for specs on it. I do not have the part numbers for the special tools used in the video. I forgot to write them down, and they were loaners from the local Ford dealer. If you are looking to purchase them you may check OTC's website as I believe that they do manufacture them, then use the part numbers to search e-bay.
You should also be sure to Air Check all of your cylinders in the event of a catastrophic timing set failure. These engines are interference engines, and if they get far enough out of time they can bend valves. This engine had to have a new intake valve on the #2 cylinder.
