Alton Goods create some good looking gear, but how does it go out in the field?

After my last hammock camp (   • Hammock Camp and Fishing trip | Over ...  ), I gave my honest thoughts on 3 peices of the gear they have for sale.

Please note; all the gear featured in this video was purchased out of my own pocket and this video was made on my own accord and not asked to make one by Alton Goods.

So I have the 3x3m ultralight tarp that has so many tieout points, you can't count them both hands and both feet. I am very happy with how it performs, the build quality and of course, how light it is.

Next on the list to be reviewed was the bug net.
I was amazed at how fine the mesh is and the fact it is still so breathable that it barely feels like it is there.

Finally I got to the ultralight hammock. I've used this one a few times and have been super impressed by the quality. My main concern with most lightweight hammocks is that the fabric used most of the time has too much stretch or the suspension straps stretch over night, leaving you like curl grub in the morning.
The ultralight straps barely stretched and the hammock material felt solid without any give.
