New government and Monty Python

So there is a swearing in of the new government today ... and all the kerfuffle about politics lately has had me in a black humour frame of mind.

Which brings #MontyPython to the fore.

Listening to the outrageous things being said by politicians beggers belief. Such as, when asked why Labor lost ... "Our Policies were to Complicated for the Australian people" .... ?

oh really?

Albo also saying he will do everything to help ALL Australians ... and then in the same breathe ... Oh but I don't agree with giving EVERYONE a tax break?

I don't know ... It has me blinking in a very cat-like fashion... ironically enough.

Having a Black/Dark sense of humour helps to normalise serious issues ... not to make light of the seriousness so that it can be passed off, but to normalise it so that people are not as hesitant to talk of such things.

For many who have gone through some traumatic things, they find it hard to talk to, because they don't want to be treated differently, they don't want it to be their WHOLE life. They want to be able to discuss it and get on with their lives.

I think some people have cried enough in their lives ... it is time to Laugh. - The Rubber Kitty
