After trying the amazing Epiphone Slash Appetite Burst Les Paul Standard, part of the Slash and Inspired by Gibson collections I just had to try the Victoria Goldtop as well. It looks, feels and plays great. It is a great deal, especially with the hardshell case that has the Scully logo on it. Just for fun I compared the Victoria to a 2017 Gibson Standard Historic 1959 Les Paul Standard Faded Tobacco VOS. You need a good mid gain amp to appreciate both guitars and those Alnico 2 pickups. They would shine trough the clean channel of a Fender, Vox or a Marshall.
