TPA3116D2 amplifier module teardown, measurements and capacitor upgrade

Описание к видео TPA3116D2 amplifier module teardown, measurements and capacitor upgrade

Upgrading the capacitor components on a cheap Chinese made 2.1 amplifier module board. Doesn't exactly go as planned, but got there in the end.

This is a TPA3116D2 2.1 amplifier module sourced from Amazon, but they're pretty easy and cheap to find elsewhere. It's not made of the best components, and there are heaps of resources online on how to upgrade these with better bits and pieces to make them surprisingly good.
I am going to go a bit further and am designing a separate circuit using a microcontroller and some digital potentiometers to replace the dials on this board, and will have some more videos up on that shortly.

Any feedback is welcome. (and sorry for mumbling a bit!)

Disclaimer!
I am NOT an expert, I have genuinely NO idea what I'm doing, and mostly just glue things together and use a lot of Google-fu until stuff works. I've been tinkering with electronics since I was a kid, but have no formal training and will probably do things incorrectly. If you learn something from this, that's awesome, but trust me - I'm learning too!
