LG G6 First Look Review

Lisa Gade has an LG G6 Android flagship smartphone in hand and she walks you through the excellent new design, improved 5.7” 2880 x1440 IPS display with Dolby Vision HDR support, dual 13MP rear cameras with ultra-wide angle mode and more. This is a pre-release device with final hardware but not yet final software, and we’ll have a final review of carrier-branded models once they’re available to us. The phone has a metal and glass design, a surprisingly small footprint, an 18:9 wide screen, and a front 5MP camera with normal and wide view modes.

A fingerprint scanner, NFC, microSD card slot wireless charging (US only) and 32 bit audio DAC (outside US) are standard. The LG G6 runs Android 7.0 Nougat with Google Assistant and a much lighter LG UI. It has a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPU, 4 gigs of RAM and 32 gigs of storage.
