One of the great new features in ScreenFlow 4 is the ability to nest sequences. Nesting sequences is where you take multiple pieces of video and link them together in a new timeline. This allows you to apply effects and callouts to the all of those pieces of video at the same time.

In answer to a question from a viewer, I show how you can nest video clips that span across another clip that you do not want nested. In this case, we nested the screen capture clips, but left a full-screen clip of video over the screen capture. This allowed us to add new effects to the screen capture nested sequence that does not effect the other video clip.

Overall, ScreenFlow 4 is a great upgrade to an already brilliant piece of software for the Mac. No other screen capture software provides the ease of use, functionality and quality. I highly recommend ScreenFlow 4.
