How to show custom error messages in WordPress contact forms? In this WordPress tutorial we will have a look at custom validation error messages in WordPress. Contact Form 7 is the most used WordPress plugin to send emails but it does not offer WordPress forms error messages customization out of the box. We have contact form built with Contact Form 7 plugin and if I do not fill in details and hit submit button, It shows generic error messages. Custom form validation error messages like:
Please provide your name
Please provide your email address
Please provide a valid email address
Please provide email subject
Please type your message

Instead of just: 'This field is required'!!!

And it also asks to fill in correct email address if provided email is not a valid email address. So the validation messages for WordPress contact forms are proper.
