Описание к видео Hamstring Anatomy

Surprise! We’re getting uncharacteristically up close and personal today to teach you about yo hamstrings! 🤭
Your hamstring muscles connect all the way up at your sitz bones, or ischial tuberosity. Go ahead and feel that area. Why? Because you can.👐The hamstrings then run down the back of the leg with the Semitendinosus and the Semimembranosus running to the inside of the knee and the Biceps femoris connecting on the outside of the femur.
What do the hamstrings do? They help to flex the knee and bring the heel towards the seat. When the foot is planted and the hips hinge back, like you would for an RDL or DL, the hamstrings contract to upright you. If you are standing with an extended lumbar spine, the hamstrings can help to posteriorly tilt you into more of a neutral position. 👏
Hamstrings 101. Get to know your body! 🫡
