Long Post Alert! Most EPIC Kolkata Itinerary that you will find. This is my #Indiagenous journey to Kolkata to explore India through fresh eyes. I set my heart at Kolkata and booked ITC Sonar because the pics looked gorgeous and it was super centrally located.

Day 1
1) Checked into the hotel and I had prebooked (12 hours in advence) a Bengali thali experience at the hotel. Some local favs are available anyway on the menu. You can also opt to visit Sonar Tori for a lavish Bengali feast.
2) Fruit Cake at Nahoum's Bakery (100+ years now) in New Market.
3) Pick some Bandel Cheese from S Panja at New Market.
4) Head to UP Bihar for B**f Bhuna or Mutton/B**f Kathi Roll
5) Stroll around and shop for spices
6) Catch a kaali peeli to Blue Poppy Thakali at Middleton Road.

Day 2
1) Get noods and Shingara Chow for b'fast at Kim Li
2) Do a misthi trail -
a) Get a mixed Sandesh box at Girish Chandra Dey & Nakur Chandra Nandy in Hedua.
b) Madhuporko and Roshogulla at Chittaranjan Mistanna Bhandar in Shyam Bazaar
c) Classic mithai making at Makhan Lal & sons in Natun Bazaar.
3) Kolkata Biryani at Zam Zam Restaurant in Entally.
4) Go for a walk at Prinsep Ghat. Get Ghoti Gorom from a local vendor.
5) Get a beer at the iconic Broadway Hotel.
6) Dive into Kabiraji cutlets at Mitra Cafe, Shobha Bazaar.
7) Night walk at Park St. and Kathi Rolls at Kusum.

Day 3
1) Morning drive on Howrah Bridge and around.
2) Chai and Malai Toast at Kona Dukaan at stock exchange.
3) Visit the iconic Victoria Memorial Park.
4) Lemon Tarts and Chicken Envelope at Kookie Jar
5) Jhalmuri & Phuchka at Vardaan Market.
6) Blueberry Coffee at Roastery coffee house
7) Indo chinese Dinner at Golden Joy, Tangra

This Indiagenous trip was incredible and now I’m probably a part bong with my eating and sleeping escapades. Kolkata truly is not just a city, it's an emotion. I will be back because my heart wants more of this city. I’d just like to say Ashi, Kolkata. Ami Tomake Bhalobhashi.
