In this Moodle 3.8 administration training series short video tutorial you will learn- how to duplicate a Moodle course / how to take a Moodle course backup. Follow the below-given steps to do so...

1. Go to "Dashboard 👉Site Administration 👉 Courses 👉 Manage categories and courses"
2. Select the course to duplicate from Manage Categories and Courses. When you click on the course, you get the options about it. Select ‘View’.
3. Click on the "Cog" button from there and you will see a drop-down. From the drop-down select "backup" option.
4. Choose the setting by selecting the checkboxes and then click on the ‘Next’ button.
5. Review the backup settings and confirm. Then click on ‘Perform backup’.
6. Click ‘Continue’ to download the course.
7. Once done, click on the ‘Download link to duplicate the course.
8. You can restore the same course as a new one or use it with a different title in another system.
