How to get an antique cherry look in minutes. Cherry is very beautiful and has a lot of potential. I have found that when people want "cherry" they want the antiqued cherry look that takes years or decades to achieve otherwise. Staining never works and even if it did, the wood would darken over time and change color anyway. This technique can be used on any piece, but in rinsing it, it does raise the grain.
