'Carl Perkins (vocal) with instrumental accompaniment' with "Honey Don't" recorded from the original Dutch 78 rpm shellac single on London L 546. Released in the Netherlands in June 1956, "Honey Don't" was originally released in the US on Sun 234 as the B-side to "Blue Suede Shoes", which peaked at Nr. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Chart. Both sides were recorded in December 1955 at Memphis Recording Service (Sun Studio) in Memphis, Tennessee with Carl Perkins on vocal and electric lead guitar, James Buck Perkins on rhythm guitar, Lloyd Clayton Perkins on bass and W. S. Holland on drums. The session was produced by Sam Phillips. Words and music by Carl Perkins.
