देवी-देवताओं का अपमान करने पर मुनव्वर फारुकी गिरफ्तार | comedian Munawar Faruqui Arrested in Indore

इंदौर में स्टैंड अप कॉमेडियन मुनव्वर फारुकी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। उन पर धार्मिक भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंचाने का आरोप है। फारुकी के साथ चार अन्य लोगों को भी गिरफ्तार किया गया है। कोर्ट ने पांचों आरोपियों को न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया है। फिलहाल ये मामला मीडिया से लेकर सोशल मीडिया तक की सुर्खियों में है


The bail pleas of comedian Munawar Faruqui and his show organiser Nalin Yadav were rejected by a sessions court in Indore on Tuesday.

The court observed that the two have been accused of making objectionable remarks on Hindu Gods and Goddesses, passing lewd remarks at women and displaying items such as condoms in the presence of children. “And considering these circumstances, giving them the benefit of bail will create a law and order situation,” the court said,

The court’s observations come in the light of a written application submitted by Tukoganj police, where Faruqui along with five others were booked on a complaint made by #EklavyaGaud, son of BJP’s sitting MLA Malini Gaud from Indore.
