How to support teachers, students with box tops

According to a recent survey by YouGov, exploring the influence of teachers on students, over a third of respondents indicated that teachers were the most trusted individuals of influence in their community, behind first responders, doctors and nurses. And, nearly half of respondents strongly agree that teachers are not celebrated enough.

As teachers and students head back to the classroom this winter, Emmy-nominated author, host, producer, and MIT-engineer, Emily Calandrelli explained to David the need to support teachers and need for equity in education, including tips on how to get involved and support schools through programs like Box Tops for Education.
