Khadi 100% Cotton Sketchbook Painting Process, inc. Daniel Smith Watercolours & Derwent Inktense

I was able to take part in a week of yacht racing off the South coast of England last week, and thought I'd paint one of the pictures I took whilst there.

I tried out Khadi 210gsm paper for the first time, and was getting used to the quite rough texture of it.

I used a mixture of mainly Daniel Smith paints, but also a couple of Holbein and A. Gallo watercolours.
I added detail with some Derwent Inktense and a Holbein pencil.
