Spiritual Daughter of Padre Pio recounts some of the miracles and torments of the devil experienced

September 23rd marked 54 years since the death of the man who more than anyone else experienced the 'great mystery of pain': Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, Saint Pio. Known as an 'exceptional confessor', Padre Pio has made a deep mark on the history of the Church.

The Manelli family is really special. Settimio Manelli and Licia Gualandris, fifty years of marriage, twenty-one children, a Christian family born and raised around Padre Pio da Pietrelcina. St. Pio for the Manelli family was (and still is) a spiritual guide, a friend, a prophet. “You will surpass the twenty children,” Father Pio prophesied to Father Septimius, one of the first spiritual sons of the Santo del Gargano. Telling this beautiful story to /EWTN is Maria Teresa Manelli, daughter of Settimio and Licia. Padre Pio celebrated her marriage to Francis on July 7, 1962 and worked many miracles for her and her family.
