Yāhi Mādhava Yāhi Keśava, adapted from Jayadeva's Geeta govinda, an astapadi that depicts a Khanditha nayika.
The taunts of a woman (Radha) cheated upon by her lover (Madhava).
She spends all night with a heavy heart waiting for Madhava, he arrives in the morning to console her, to which she taunts him of being with another woman all night.

rajani-janita-guru-jägara-räga-kañäyitam alasa-nimeñam
vahati nayanam anurägam iva sphuöam udita-rasäbhiniveçam (1)
hari hari yähi mädhava yähi keçava mä vada kaitava-vädaà
täm anusara saraséruha-locana yä tava harati viñädam

“Your reddish, drowsy, half-closed eyes tell of Your
wakeful night passed in the flurry of lovemaking and expose
Your ardent passion for that vraja-sundari.
“Go, Mädhava! Go away, Keçava! Do not ply Me with
Your deceptive words. O lotus-eyed one, go to that agreeable
damsel who is quite capable of removing Your sorrow.”

kajjala-malina-vilocana-cumbana-viracita-nélima-rüpam
daçana-vasanam aruëaà tava kåñëa tanoti tanor anurüpam
hari hari yähi mädhava...

“Your beautiful red lips, the raiment of Your teeth, have
become blackish like Your body, Mädhava, from kissing her
kajjala-annointed eyes.”

vapur anuharati tava smara-saìgarakhara-nakhara-kñata-rekham
marakata-çakala-kalita-kala-dhauta-liper iva rati-jaya-lekham
