ESL learners must start with parts of speech which is the most essential part of basic English grammar. Although the concept is as old as hills, many a time we need parts of speech examples in sentences so that one can learn basic English grammar easily.
Sentence is a complete idea conveyed through words: each word act as a part of speech within the sentence. It is this part that helps us understand the grammatical role of the word within a sentence. A word can perform different parts of speech in different sentences. Understanding the PARTS OF SPEECH is the first step towards learning grammar. This video is a general discussion of Parts of Speech as well as Noun which is the most significant part of a sentence.
Noun is the name of a person, place, thing or idea. Noun is of two types: Proper or Common. Two other types of noun are Tangible or Intangible. A noun is something without which we can't express our ideas. We are surrounded by nouns, and we need nouns to explain all that we experience.
