Preparing for Heating Season 2024-2025: cleaning the pellet stove chimney.
The process went much better this year than last, it completed in less than an hour. Last year, the brush I had did not work properly and I was not able to reach all areas of the pipes without full disassembly. This was an excellent testament to the value of experience and having the correct tools for the job.

The remaining tasks include re-tarring the flashing on the roof where the pipe comes out, deep cleaning the entire stove, and testing all aspects of the stove. Ideally the testing will be done sometime this week such that if parts are required, there is still adequate time to obtain and install.
