Hello, YouTube. This video is a demonstration of the Helemental Last Round Bolt Catch (LRBC) Feed Tray for the Saiga-12.

For those unfamiliar with a Last Round Bolt Catch (LRBC), it is a safety device that engages after the last cartridge is extracted, holding the bolt open and exposing an empty chamber. This allows the operator to distinguish between an empty chamber and a closed-bolt-cycle-malfunction that could leave a live cartridge in the chamber. The Saiga-12 is a popular sporting shotgun with a reliable repeater-action, and clean running, piston driven bolt that cycles from a detachable feeder. One drawback is its older style receiver that does not have a LRBC built in. Current options to deal with this issue are expensive, require machining, permanent alterations to the receiver, and often the addition of specialty feeders that only work with that product.
