Authentic Dravida Brahim Shivangi Pulusu | Uttarandhra special

Internet is filled with many non authentic versions of Sivangi pulusu which is an uttara andhra special and a brinjal recipe which contains no onion garlic. Here is an attempt to put out the actual recipe that has been passed on to us.


for nuvulu powder
-----------------------------
3tbsp white sesame
3 dry chill

process:
dry roast and grind to coarse powder

for Menthi powder
-----------------------------
1.5tbsp Chana dal
1.5 tbsp urad dal
1tbsp Dhania (coriander seeds)
1/2 tbsp Jeera( cumin seeds)
1tsp methi (fenugreek seeds)
5 dried chilli
pinch of Hing (asafetida)

dry roast everything except Hing and make a fine powder . Add hing to the powder and pulse in mixer to mix it thoroughly.
