A Suspect has been arrested following the assassination of Ukraine's former parliamentary speaker Andriy Parubiy with Police saying “There is a Russian trace”

Parubiy was gunned down in Lviv by a man disguised as a food courier.

The killer then fled the scene in the Sykhovsky district on what is believed to be an electric bike.

A 36 hour man hunt, led by the SBU, was concluded when a 52-year-old  suspect was detained.The police said “We know this crime is not accidental. There is a Russian trace in it. Everyone will be held accountable before the law”
