Kekkai Sensen revolves around the "Libra" organization which fights crime in the apocalyptic city of Hellsalem's Lot, formerly known as New York City. Hellsalem's Lot was born when a portal to the Underworld was opened, bringing with it various creatures from another world called the Afterlife.
